Unmanaged stress is linked to a variety of adolescent challenges, including poor academic performance, substance abuse, risky sexual behaviors, obesity, depression, and anxiety. Encouraging students to be curious, grateful, and nurturing to their bodies, Crystal believes that Yoga is a powerful tool that can help young adults find stability, enhance their sense of self, and co-create a more compassionate school environment. Crystal believes that cultivating these qualities is important for laying the groundwork for becoming emotionally healthy adults.
